Howdy to all my Wing Chun Brothers. I moved to Colorado Springs in May and have only been able to talk one of the guys in my unit to work out with me one time. I've been shadow boxing the drills and started the work out from Sifu's book. I was thinking about buying an Attach-Mate for my Wavemaster Bag just to have something to work against. For those of you who don't know what that is, it attaches to any punching bag and has three arms protruding similar to a Mook Jung without the leg. Is it a worthwhile investment? I would appreciate any advice from you guys on getting the most out of solo training. Thanks in advance.

Greetings Luke, Sounds like you are taking your Shadowhand Training to heart. When I moved to Fl. I too had no one to train with. This situation brings out the best in all of us. We become creative and adapt to what we have at our disposal. We find ways to keep on track with the training we have. Keep up the good work. I know you are making plans on going to Houston soon. Thanks for keeping us up to date. SiFu Doc Savage

I adapted a chair and old mop handle to use as an attacking leg. I was taught that if you turn your horse properly you can avoid, say a front snap kick to the stomach, without using a gaan sau. It seems to work.
